Iron Stove

While the initial price kept me away, I couldn’t resist any longer when a sale was offered. It’s not the most practical camp stove, it’s not cost effective either, but it’s also unlike any other option out there. Using this stove compared to others forces you to plan ahead, slow down, and savor the experience and atmosphere. For me, that’s what camping is all about so it was a perfect fit! When it’s not in use warming drinks and hands it looks very attractive on the shelf in the home. There are cheaper versions of this out there, but that’s exactly what they are, with Engrish labels and oddball fixtures. This is the best, a Winnerwell, and I want the best.

i bought the same or a little smaller stove on amazon for half the price the wick adjustment works better and there is actual glass not plastic garbage your stove came with which is all cracked for the price total garbage

Absolutely gorgeous! Great for emergencys! Amazing quality! I'll definitely be ordering another one very soon! If I could only recommend one thing, just add a little more packing paper. This has nothing to do with winnerwell! It's just the mail carriers aren't exactly easy on handling packages. Winnerwell did an amazing job on this product! I'm more then happy with the company and the product!

I bought this a year or so ago and just returned from a trip along the Eastern Sierra Nevada mountains , Yosemite and Sequoia National Parks with the purpose of evaluating the stove to see what other gear I could eliminate by relying on my Sad Girl.
-She serves very well as a stove. Easy to light and provides its own wind shield. Tailor your utensils to its shape for best results.
-Tent heater. Fully adjustable. Use grill plate to help disperse the heat.
-Light source. Again, fully adjustable lantern.
-Ambiance. Set this on the picnic table between you and enjoy the mini fireplace.

And the sweet part, it does it all with the same fuel.

I am in no way connected to Winnerwell or anyone working there.
This is just to benefit those considering this stove. It’s not cheap but I’m happy with my purchase.

I have been so disappointed with this that I haven't even bothered to use it yet. Mine came with missing paint (yes, that's right . . .it's painted black, it's not quality black iron). And the adjustment knob is so chintzy it's hard to believe they actually send them out that way. It's basically formed tin foil, but it's probably not tin . . . it's cheap brass. It can't be more than a couple thousandths thick. It's a total joke.

This should be a $60 item MAX, even with the case. The case is the only half-decent thing about it.

This is one of those times when I should have known better. Shame on me, but also shame on them for charging this absurd price.
