It's nice not having to worry about the pipe and the 2.5 worked great. There are times when you need a shorter pipe and this one fit's the bill. I always tell my friends about Winner well and when they see it they are impressed about the quality.

Having this 6 inch piece of pipe gives me more flexibility when setting up my stove.
It lets me adjust the heat shield section of pipe to line up with the ceiling of the tent better.

To bad winnerwell doesn’t make the short pipe with a damper. That would work really well in my application

I got this stove just in case thing go sideways. First, I used it for heat, to see how hot it would get, and it got hot. It acted like a little rocket stove burned - clean all the way down to ash. Second used it to make breakfast sandwiches, ham, cheese, egg on a croissant. Like it - I was watching a utube video and this guy was giving his dissertation on the stove. Thats not what got me it was the guy in the back ground made a remark - it's the first thing that we load in the car. That honest remark told me the value of the stove. I can't be happier. I show it off every chance I get. I love this thing, it's cool work, play with.
