Fireproof Carbon Fiber + Aluminum Foil Mat

The Fire Matt works as it should I’ve got three of them now one for each tent

Using this product alone will not protect your tent. We found out the hard way. Deapite also used Winnerwell’s silicone/fiberglass mat, Winnerwell’s leg extensions, and two layers of 1800° carbon fiber welding blanket- our brand new $1500 bell tent and $100 ground sheet had a 12” hole melted in them. We were lucky not to lose our lives. The heat shield is an absolute must- which we were told was not available in the USA yet. I do not recommend this product to prevent heat transfer at all- nor do I recommend the silicone and fiberglass mat. Winnerwell’s stoves are great- but they are not able to be safely used with any of the current mats they offer, “fireproof” or otherwise.

Absolutely love Winnerwell woodstoves, higher quality, than the others!!! Bought this again bc my lil pup likes chewing on the carbon part,( pretty black stuff on top), I can't blame him, it is pretty,lol had to train him better, Daddy's fault, now dixed!! Ty Winnerwell!!
