Coffee grind basket too small

Made the first pot by filling with water about 1 inch below the spout. filled the basket up with coffee grounds. Coffee came out weak . Then for the next pot I measured out 32 oz. of water ,which brought it up to that second indicator line below the spout and filled basket with coffee grounds. It perked twice and created just steam .when I checked the pot it had 8 oz. Of water left inside. Pot wouldn’t perk with 32 oz. Of water. On the next pot I went up to the next line and filled the basket again. This time it perked with another result of weak coffee. I used Starbucks pike medium ground. Then I ground 8 o”clock Colombian Peaks ,which I ground a little coarser . Pot is well made and looks good . But unfortunately produced weak coffee .only thing I think ,it can use deeper basket .

Not for Induction

The rim around the bottom of the pot prevents the bottom surface from contacting the induction cooktop.

Really Nice

I really like the quality and how it has the option to hang over a fire with a Tripod. I've purchased other Winnerwell products and have been really happy with them.

My New Favorite Coffee Pot

The coffee pot appears to be well made. Side handle stays cool while brewing. Very nice construction. Be aware though while brewing, that the carry handle needs to be in the upright position. Otherwise it will get very hot.
